She also has a background in running that has included marathon and half-marathon competition. Tiffany has completed numerous continuing education courses, some of which included training in the use of stability balls, resistance bands, medicine balls, dumbbells, and plyometrics. She also has experience working with clients of all ages from teenagers to seniors. Tiffany earned a Bachelor's Degree from Oregon State University and a Master's Degree from the University of Arizona; both degrees in Exercise and Sports Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training. She holds certifications as an athletic trainer through the National Athletic Trainer's Association, and as a personal Trainer through ACE.
Tara Alcantara Tara has been involved in fitness professionally for over 10 years. Nationally certified by ACE, she also holds three group fitness certifications, including BODYPUMP & RPM. Tara is serious about results. Her clients receive a results-driven training regimen where accountability is reciprocated. Tara has had substantial experience as well as results with clients interested in fitness competition, weight loss, specific training for performance, and injury rehabilitation. She strives to make each workout motivational with variety being a key element. Personally, fitness has always been a part of Tara's life. She is accomplished in both downhill and cross country mountain biking, wakeboarding, and snowboarding but also enjoys running and taking Les Mills classes. Tara's philosophy is that fitness has to be a way of life in order to achieve a healthy balance physically and mentally. "Our bodies will give us in return exactly what we put into them; if it is processed food, empty calories, and inactivity, our bodies will react accordingly - feeling sluggish, bloated, and tired. If we train our bodies to function optimally and provide the fuel it desires, the result will be to have more energy, feel stronger, and mentally sharper. It is not necessary to spend hours in the gym, and it certainly helps to find a mode of exercise that is enjoyable. Soon exercise will become an outlet to relieve stress and an opportunity to do something that is just for you. Exercise should be something we look forward to, not dread." Her mission is to help her clients realize their potential as well as the amazing benefits of taking their bodies past what their minds believe they can do. Her desire is to empower her clients with the knowledge and motivation to live the life of their dreams. "Ask any of my clients and they'll tell you they work very hard during their training sessions. They will also tell you they've been able to decrease their body fat, increase their strength and fitness, and achieve more physically than they believed possible." Tara's approach provides an extremely focused training session to get the most out of every minute. Each session is created for each individual client and their goals. She provides as much education as possible so her clients have the knowledge they need to make positive choices each day to keep their health and fitness progressing in the right direction.
"If you haven't worked with a trainer before, expect to be pushed. But if you keep an open mind and allow yourself to experience something new, you will receive the workout of your life as well as a renewed perspective on what you can accomplish, in the gym and in life!"-Tara
